Vesikukka's Fursona
Completed June 2025.
These two fullbodies are character design work I did for a friend of mine, who wanted a fursona but wasn't able to create one themself. It was a fun an interesting experience to work closely with someone to help them realise their vision. The final character is a shy, stocky St. Bernard with two-toned hair.
My favourite part of the process was brainstorming with Ves; it's cool to be presented with ideas that you would never think of yourself, it helps you get outside of your own head for a bit. I love the droopy mouth flaps, and I also like the way the striped leggings help bring the more standout colours through the design.
