Devil Summoning
Completed December 2024.
A Christmas gift for EvolvesZ of his fursona, Evo the Fox. I wanted to surprise him with an image that showcases Evo's demonic fire abilities. It's easily one of the pieces I'm most proud of, and he seems to agree, as he even used it as a profile picture across his socials.
I've rendered characters in a wildfire before, but for this attempt I looked up and followed a tutorial to help with the overall shape of the fire. I also put extra care into the hair to make it pop and differentiate it form the fur - I'm really happy with how it turned out. The pentagram was a last-minute addition, but I think it really helped to communicate the theme and bring the whole image together.
